Jan 19, 2016 - AEP may build Utility Scale Solar Farms In Ohio
AEP may build 400 megawatts of solar farms here in Ohio by 2020 as part of a deal to guaranty income
for some of it's aging coal power plants. 400 megawatts is enough to power 400,000 homes.
The Sierra Club endorses the plan but some consumer advocacy groups are apposed.
The consumer advocacy groups are concerned about how much this will cost consumers.
